Bring your singing voice and join Michael Ananda Coffman, David Casselman, Leana Lovejoy and friends for an evening of sacred chant, original song and guided meditation. The intent of this circle is to share the songs and chants that keep us connected to Spirit, the Earth and each other. Lyric sheets and musical accompaniment make it easy to join in the singing. We'll bring percussion instruments for you to use, but please feel free to bring your own. A music current is a form of prayer and spiritual practice that opens our hearts, clears our minds and brings clarity and peace. We'll end the evening with a silent meditation.

Michael Ananda Coffman is a flutist and Hospice R.N. On a spiritual path for many years, he has had the opportunity to play music along with Ammachi, Adyashanti, Thich Nhat Hanh, The Peace Tribe Orchestra, Dave Stringer and many others. He has recently moved to Sebastopol and participates regularly in kirtan circles here. David Casselman is a brilliant guitarist from Healdsburg. He is delightful and humorous, and has written many uplifting songs and regularly shares them at the "Circle of Friends" kirtan. Leana Lovejoy is a longtime Sebastopol resident whose meditation circles have touched the lives of many. She has written many beautiful songs of universal love and shares them in sacred ceremony.
