Sahaj points to the Heart and the fire of awakening that can reveal this peace. Inspired by the Divine expressions of the Christ, Ramana Maharshi, Ammachi, the Buddha and Milarepa, he points to the peace within life and the energy within peace. Embodying presence and spontaneity while using tools from various teachings, he brings a potency and aliveness to a message of awakening. With love, he guides interested seekers into this moment and the sacred Source of all that is. Sahaj leads an ongoing satsang in the Garzot/Duffield bldg in Libby Park (7985 Valentine Ave. in Sebastopol) on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 pm. 322-6618;

Sahaj received his master's degree in transpersonal counseling psychology in 2001. After that, he spent seven years in social work during which he was devoted to attending satsangs with Adyashanti. In 2009, Sahaj began meditating eight hours a day—four hours of calm abiding and four hours of kundalini yoga. After a powerful awakening in the summer of 2009, he continued to sit all day for another year as the gradual aspect of awakening continued. Following this period of quiet and stillness was a period of intense devotion to love. Darshans with Ammachi intensified these energetic experiences. Today, Sahaj experiences a stillness amidst the activities of daily life.
