Twenty-six Companions is a book about an art project that became a spiritual journey. Every two weeks for a year, Sandy Eastoak sought another goddess, god, saint, or shaman. She began in deep meditation, extended the conversation into daily life, and created a linoleum block print image. Sharing experiences with people who were drawn to the linocuts, she saw a unique opportunity to encourage others. This book is both her story and a step-by-step guide to developing and believing your own intimate encounters with spirit. The text and 26 images tell the unity of human spirituality and the consciousness of all life.

Sandy Eastoak has committed her professional life to shifting our cultural paradigm to ecological wisdom and love. Her linocuts and watercolor and acrylic paintings have appeared in 50 solo and 120 group shows, and are represented in collections in 25 states and 20 countries. She edited Dharma Family Treasures: Sharing Buddhism with Children and has produced 8 poetry chapbooks. She is a founding member of Sebastopol Gallery and lightning rod for The Pomo Project.
