Are you living the abundant life? An abundant life—not an abundance life. There's a significant difference between the two. Many of us middle-class North Americans are living the abundance life. In his new book, Quaker author J. Brent Bill posits that an abundant life us about more than material abundance and is found in four essential ideals. These ideals can guide us into the life we desire if we learn to incorporate them into our daily lives. Those four ideals are beauty, truth, life, and love. Brent has been described as "...a substantial spiritual guide, but never in a flashy way. Think of —oh, perhaps something like Mister Rogers Meets the Dalai Lama." Join us for an evening with Brent as he reads from his book and invites us to look at the places of beauty, truth, life, and love in our own lives.

J. Brent Bill, a member of Spirituality and Practice's "Living Spiritual Teachers Project," has published more than twenty books, including Life Lessons from a Bad Quaker: A Humble Stumble Toward Simplicity and Grace, Sacred Compass: The Way of Spiritual Discernment, and Holy Silence: The Gift of Quaker Spirituality.
