The Universe is out of balance and so are we. One very simple solution to this problem is for each of us to live a more embodied life. With so many things competing for our attention, a strong commitment is needed to sustain a mind/body connection. Being centered and grounded in the body opens us to multiple intelligences and enhances our ability to meet life's graces and challenges in a more relaxed and flowing way. Please join us to find out more about this as well as to experience some simple practices that will sustain you on your journey to live a more embodied and balanced life.
Denise Barry, M.A., is a 5th Degree Blackbelt in the Non-Violent Martial Art of Aikido. She holds an M.A. in Organizational Development and is the owner and Chief Instructor of Kuma Kai Aikido in Sebastopol. She is a Cranial Sacral Practitioner and a Personal Development Coach. She has been studying/teaching Aikido for 34 years and firmly believes that the world would be a better place if more people engaged their body and enjoyed the energy and the aliveness that an embodied life provides.
