The word Strega is the word for wisewoman, medicine woman, healer, and sorceress in the Italian tradition. Theresa's great grandmother was a Strega. With the family's immigration from the Abruzzi region in Italy to New Hampshire at the turn of the last century, the lineage was temporarily lost. Join Theresa as she shares how, through writing the novel, The Strega and the Dreamer, she reclaimed this lost lineage.
