Virginia Matthews and Anne Scott will be sharing the work they have been doing for the past 2 years at day and residential shelters with women who face homelessness, healing from trauma, and recovery from addiction. These women who live on the edge are "women in transition", a term one woman offered as a more accurate description than "homeless". In honor of International Women's Day, Virginia and Anne will offer their perspective of the global movement of women in transition, bringing Anne's experiences at international women's conferences and introducing the work being done in India by Sister Lucy and others with women facing similar circumstances.
