Yoga Nidra, also known as �yogic sleep� (Yoga = Union, Oneness and Nidra = Sleep) is a state of consciousness that comes from expanded awareness in a state of deep relaxation. This talk will be geared towards describing the origin and benefits of the practice, as well as experiencing several calming, body-awareness meditation techniques.

Camina Gilloti, B.A. is an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner and Registered Yoga Teacher. She focuses on preventative care through maintaining balance and connection to nature with food, lifestyle, and seasonal practices. She currently sees clients and teaches at the Center for Inner Health and Stillness in Santa Rosa and works at the Dhyana Center in Sebastopol.
