March Tea Tasting Event
Fresh Teas before the Spring Harvest
Many Rivers Staff
Saturday, March 20, 2 pm
Free/By Donation

Many of the most famous teas of Asia are picked early in the year. Examples include Dragon Well (Long Jing) from the famous Westlake district in China, and first flush Darjeeling from northern India. So a tea-tasting in March cannot feature fresh examples of these teas-that must wait several months until the processed leaves find their ways to America. But in the meantime, this month we will taste teas from another season, the "winter" (Oct. through December) harvest. Our tea-tastings are convivial affairs, with sharing of information, opinions, etc. about tea. It's both fun and educational to the palate to taste teas in quick succession. Check it out!
